Helpful Resources

Classroom and home activities are an integral part of the Body Walk program.

Body Walk School Manual
The Body Walk School Manual
provides important information to each school that is scheduled to have the Body Walk exhibit.  It is sent to the Body Walk coordinator in each scheduled school six weeks prior to the visit.  Classroom activities are provided in Chapter 4 of the manual.  In addition, websites where teachers can find more information on nutrition and physical activity are included in Chapter 7.

Student Activity Book
Each student who participates in Body Walk receives a 24-page full-color book to take home and share with his/her family.  The book contains information about each learning station in the Body Walk exhibit, activities, facts and riddles.  The book also summarizes how students can practice Power Panther's message to:

EAT SMART.  PLAY HARD.
